It is to make this transition from cycling to travelling by train easier that The Muretain Agglo has chosen NOVAL’s CYPARK E-LOCK solution.

Located near the Muret SNCF station, the station makes it easy for cyclists to get there: they stabilise and secure their bike, plug in their charger, put their belongings in a locker, and then catch their train. On their return, they find their bike and personal belongings in the same place.

Customised in the local authority’s colours, the station blends seamlessly into the site. Its installation on a self-supporting platform has also helped to minimise ground works and civil engineering works.

With this project, which was built in France, Le Muretain Agglo is not merely providing additional parking spaces. The local authority is creating a genuine link between cycling and the rail network, making the first and last few kilometres of the journey easier and making intermodal travel a more practical part of everyday life.
