The SMART-BIKE solution proposed for this project is a next-generation infrastructure, entirely designed and manufactured in France, which transforms the bike-sharing experience. Here are the key strengths of this system for urban deployment:
- Embedded intelligence and connectivity : The station can be fitted with a control unit featuring a 10.4-inch LCD screen and an RFID reader for season tickets. Thanks to a 4G/GSM modem, the fleet’s status is transmitted in real time to the control centre.
Enhanced security : To cope with the constraints of public spaces, the system features an extremely robust, individual, vandal-proof mechanical locking mechanism.
- Flexible installation: Thanks to its lightweight infrastructure and self-supporting platform, the station is easy to install and can be adapted to road layout constraints without the need for major civil engineering works.
- User ergonomics : The system is designed to be simple and intuitive, featuring illuminated charge indicators that allow users to immediately see the availability and status of the e-bikes.
